  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried coriander powder
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)

  • Water as desired

Chicken stuffing:

  • 1 cup boiled and shredded chicken
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion (or leeks if you like)
  • 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Recipe Instructions

  3. Take a bread slice and spread the chicken mixture over it. Cover with another bread and then cut into 2 equal triangles. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the bread slices and chicken mixture.
  4. In the meanwhile heat oil in a pan for deep frying then dip each chicken sandwich into the gram flour mixture and then slowly add to the hot oil. Fry for about 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. When ready take out in a serving dish with a paper towel in it to absorb extra oil.
  6. Repeat the same procedure with all of the bread sandwiches and serve the chicken stuffed bread bhajji with chilled mint chutney or tomato ketchup. Serve hot.
