The monsoon season is very pleasant throughout the country but the hilly terrains especially, turn mesmerizing due to the nature’s cycle of regenerating new leaves. It would be a better option to visit the hill stations with the onset of monsoons but the major accidents in the hill areas also occur during the monsoon season like heavy rainfall, landslides not forget floods!

Mumbai in Maharashtra is what instantly comes to my mind when there is a mention of Monsoons. Mumbai has many adjoining beautiful places which are known to be enjoyed in the monsoons like Lonavala, Matheran, Alibaug etc.



Even in Mumbai there are many places where the beauty of monsoons can be enjoyed. These places are marine drive, Gateway of India, Haji Ali Dargah, Juhu-Chowpatti Beach etc.
