We all like celebrating a special occasion with a bonfire. And it is a very common thing to do in winter as well. So when you will arrange a bonfire then you have to decide on your food item as well. Because it is all about some good food.

Tandoori Chicken

At first, you have to mix the chicken with some yogurt along with all the spices, oil and lemon juice and marinate the chicken with the mixture. After that, you have to keep it for at least 6 hours to make it tender. Then you need to roast the marinated chicken for at least 4 minutes on each side in a frying pan.

Lastly, you can add some chili powder and oil and smear them on the chicken. If you want to make it smoky then you can burn some charcoal and let the smoke go inside the chicken. Your tandoori chicken is ready.

Hot Dogs

If you want something as a snack item in your bonfire then hot dogs can be a very good option for you. It is also quite simple to make and the taste is simply marvelous. At first, you need to take some chicken sausage and toss them in boiling water for around 2 minutes.

Then you need to cut the sausages and grill them with some oil. After that, you need to arrange all the sausages between the buns and add some lettuce and mayonnaise along with some cheese. Your hot dog is ready to serve.

Kebabs

If you have arranged for drinks in the bonfire then kebabs are needed. The beauty of this item is you can make it with any type of elements like chicken, paneer, mutton and even fish. To make simple chicken kebab you have to marinate the chicken with some curd and a lot of spices.

Then you need to cook it with ginger garlic paste and some onion without adding water. You have to cook it till the extra moisture is dripping out from the chicken because at that time you can be sure that your chicken is completely soft.

Then you have to keep it for at least 5 hours. Now you need to take all the chicken pieces in the skewers and grill them on the oven. Chicken kebab is mostly served with some raita or green chili chutney.

Shrimp Scampi

If you don’t want to have chicken in your bonfire day then you can try out some shrimp recipe to change your taste bud. Shrimp scampi is a very good appetizer item that can be eaten with pasta. You will need small shrimp pieces to make crunchy scampi with it

. You have to cook the shrimps in butter and oil so that the flavor can be exotic out of it. To make the perfect shrimp scampi, you have to sauté some shrimp along with garlic, salt and pepper. Then you have to pour some wine and simmer it for 2 minutes.

Then you have to switch off the oven and stir the whole thing along with lemon juice, butter and parsley. The delicious shrimp scampi is ready to serve.

Grilled Paneer

If you are a completely vegetarian person then also you can try out some grilled paneer to enjoy your bonfire night. This is the simplest recipe you can make during your bonfire. At first, you have to cut the paneer into small pieces and marinate it with some yoghurt and the spices of your choice.

Then you need to place the cubes of paneer, onions and peppers in the skewer. Now you need to grill it to make the perfect grilled paneer. Generally, it is served with green chutney.

Burger

The burger is kind of a go-to item in any bonfire or gets together. You can simply cook vegetarian or non-vegetarian burger filling and arrange them in burger bread. The best thing about a burger is it can go well with any type of drink you want. You can have a burger as snacks as well as dinner.
